Advisory Board

Arja Flinkman currently serves as the CEO and Chief Principal of South Savo Education Ltd., a Finnish Vocational Education and Training provider. She is active in the regional Chamber as a member of the board as well as a member of the committee of the competencies and know-how. Her college includes both IVET and HVET and is committed to steer the green transfer through upskilling and re-skilling of both current students and people already in the working life. Earlier, she worked as CFO and CIO of the Mikkeli city consortium.

Ms. Flinkman served as the Vice President (Policy) of EfVET since 2020 and as a board member of the Finnish Association for the Development of Vocational Education and Training (Amke) for three years between 2017 and 2019.

She has long experience in the education area. Currently, she is a member of the EMPL VET Provider’s Expert group and the EQF Advisory Group as a representative of the VET4EU2 network of VET Associations. She is also a member of the Working Group of GreenTransfer under the European Commission and participates in education evaluation and development at Cedefop.
