Chiara D’Angelo is Associate Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where she also serves as Director of the Master in Competence Management and Certification.
Her research focuses on career development and workers’ professional well-being, with a strong commitment to applied projects in lifelong learning. She has a particular interest in professionals in the sports sector and in the non-profit world, exploring how continuous education can support their growth and sustainability.
In recent years, her work has centered on competencies as both catalysts and anchors for career pathways. This has led her to investigate the evolving landscape of formal, non-formal, and informal learning, with a special focus on the role of micro-credentials as tangible markers of workers’ learning journeys today.
