Advisory Board

Dr. Mercy Situmbeko is a distinguished leader in education, training, and human development with extensive experience across the public and private sectors. Since 2013, she has served as the Manager for Education, Training & Development at NamPower (the National Power Utility of Namibia), where she also heads the NamPower Vocational Training Centre. A certified John Maxwell Team Executive Director, coach, and speaker, she is a recognized voice in leadership and professional development. She recently earned her Doctorate in Leadership from the London School of Management & Technology.

Her commitment to education is further demonstrated through her extensive involvement with the Namibian University of Science & Technology (NUST), where she has served as a Council/Board Member and on various Programme Advisory Committees, including for Management Programmes, the Bachelors of TVET Instructor Programme, and the Bachelor & Honours in Human Resources degrees.

Dr. Situmbeko’s diverse background includes her role as a Personnel Systems Analyst for the Office of the Prime Minister and as a Part-Time Lecturer in Compensation Management at the Polytechnic of Namibia. She is a Certified Performance Technologist with the International Society of Performance Improvement and a registered Psychometrist with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa.

She has also served as President of the Professional Speakers Association of Namibia (PSAN) and is currently a Board Member and Chairperson of the Human Capital, Governance & Corporate Social Responsibility Committee for the New Era Publications Corporation. Her career is marked by a dedication to advancing professional standards, fostering talent, and contributing to corporate and social responsibility.
