Who is Karsten Henriksen?

Karsten Henriksen is a visionary leader with a career dedicated to transformation and innovation in higher education. His commitment to learning, engagement, and sustainable growth drives his work, promoting educational programmes that integrate entrepreneurship, citizen inquiry, and creativity, in line with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the demands of Industry 5.0. 

He is currently Chief Executive Officer at the Bison Institute. His background includes positions as CEO and president at Northlands College, Academic Director at the College of Indigenous Health Leadership, and Vice President at Lambton College and Nunavut Arctic College. Henriksen has invested in team and leadership development in Canada and internationally, mentoring students, teachers, and administrators. His dedication to education reflects his commitment to  leading with global impact.
